World Cup Draw: Netherlands vs Brazil

Wim Blokpoel - The PDC has announced the draw for the 2022 Cazoo World Cup of Darts!

The Dutch team includes UK Open Champion Danny Noppert and former World Grand Prix finalist Dirk van Duijvenbode, as Dutch number one Michael van Gerwen had to withdraw because of surgery. The Dutch duo takes on Brazil in round 1 of the World Cup! Brazilian captain and all time present for Brazil, Diogo Portela is playing with Arthur Valle this year.

If the Dutch duo were to win round 1, they would take on either 2019 finalist Ireland, once again with William O’Connor and Steve Lennon, or Canada which includes Jeff Smith and an in form Matt Campbell! A potential quarter-finalist would be 6th seed Northern Ireland, including 2 time major winner Daryl Gurney and WGP Finalist Brendan Dolan. The World Cup of Darts starts next thursday!
