Wim Blokpoel - Today 3 Eurotour Associate Member qualifiers were played. A lot of Dutchmen tried to join Danny van Trijp who already qualified as an Associate Member for Eurotour 1.

In the qualifier for Eurotour 1, Davy Proosten and Sven van Dun played each other in the quarter-finals. It was Proosten who won it 5-1. Jimmy van Schie lost his quarter-final 2-5 to Turkish Baran Oezdemir. In the semi-finals Proosten lost 1-5 to eventual qualifier Belgian Brian Raman.

Eurotour 2 qualifier had even more Dutch success! 4 Dutchmen were left for one of the two qualifier spots for the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim. Danny van Trijp edged out Owen Roelofs 5-4, while Gian van Veen averaged 97,4 to beat Sven van Dun 5-2, despite Van Dun averaging 98,4 himself! In their final, it was Van Veen who whitewashed Van Trijp 5-0, as 19-year-old Dutch talent Gian van Veen secured his Eurotour debut!

In qualifier 3 Van Veen was only two wins away from another Eurotour spot, in München, but former Lakeside World Champion Jelle Klaasen beat him 5-2. In the other qualifier, Wesley Plaisier edged out Davy Proosten 5-4, while Owen Roelofs beat Belgian Kevin Blomme 5-2 to make it an all Dutch final. In his final, Jelle Klaasen unfortunately lost 1-5 to Thomas Junghans. Plaisier and Roelofs played the other final, and it was Plaisier who won it 5-2 with an average of 93,8! Another Eurotour for Plaisier, but his first one since 2019!
