Van Gerwen loses to Wade in Premier League

Wim Blokpoel - Last night the 2022 Cazoo Premier League continued with night 8, in Birmingham.

Dutch number one, and Premier League number one Michael van Gerwen took on James Wade, who was number 8. However, as a result of very poor doubles (15% on them!!) MVG lost 2-6 to Wade. Fortunately, Van Gerwen is still first in the Premier League, but a good result in Leeds next week would be handy.
