Two Dutch first rounds at Players Championship Finals

Wim Blokpoel - Today the draw for the 2022 PDC Players Championship Finals was announced, with a great amount of 10 Dutchmen in it!

Unfortunately, 4 of them are in the same small section of the draw. Dutch number one Michael van Gerwen takes on the very talented Kevin Doets in round 1. In the last 32 the winner of that has to take on either Maik Kuivenhoven or darting legend Raymond van Barneveld. After a potential MVG-RVB clash, the winner of that could even face another Dutchman in round 3: Dirk ‘Aubergenius’ van Duijvenbode! DVD first place Ryan Meikle though.

Jermaine Wattimena has a tough first round against European Champion Rob Cross. Ron ‘The Bomb’ Meulenkamp plays Polish Eagle Krzysztof Ratajski, while Martijn Kleermaker takes on debutant Scott Mitchell. Vincent van der Voort plays ‘Yozza’ Jamie Hughes in the first round, and finally former semi-finalist Danny Noppert plays Austrian Rowby-John Rodriguez. 

The PC Finals will be played 26-28 november in Minehead. The schedule will follow later.
