Roland Scholten loses to Jenkins in World Seniors

Wim Blokpoel - After 9 years Roland Scholten made his return to the stage yesterday as he took on Terry Jenkins in round 1 of the 2022 Jenningsbet World Seniors Championship.

In set 1 Scholten hit a 180 but it wasn’t enough as Jenkins won the set 3-1 in legs. In set 2 ‘The Bull’ continued a great performance, as Jenkins won it 3-0 in legs to go 2-0 up in sets at the commercial break. Former UK Open Champion Scholten did manage to hit a second 180 in set 3, and also went 2-1 up in legs that set, however Jenkins took out 108 and won the last set 3-2 to go through to the last 16. It was very good to see Dutch darting hero Roland Scholten back in action!
