Klaasen replaces Hughes at Players Championship Finals

Wim Blokpoel - Yesterday the PDC confirmed that Jamie Hughes has tested positive for the coronavirus, and because of that will miss the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals this weekend. His replacement is the 65th player on the list, which is former BDO World Champion Jelle Klaasen! Klaasen gets one more chance to save his tourcard, as he needs to win at least 2 games in this event (if he won’t qualify for the Worlds). Klaasen will take on fellow Dutchman Vincent van der Voort in a third Dutch first round!
