Hosts and commentators announced for Viaplay Netherlands

Wim Blokpoel - Today Viaplay announced who the new darts hostst and commentators will be. After 10 years, Darts moves from RTL7 to Viaplay. Main host will be Anne-Marie Fokkens. This is the first time in the history of Darts broadcasting in The Netherlands that the host is a woman! Fokkens has been making tv for Omroep Brabant in the past, and has also worked for Ziggo Sport and the Dutch newspaper AD, where she made an online newsprogram. 

More news: the second commentator has also been confirmed. Earlier was announced that Jacques Nieuwlaat would move along with the darts from RTL7 to Viaplay, and now the news has come that Frank Visschraper will also move from RTL7 to Viaplay to commentate on the darts. Finally, second host will still be Koert Westerman, who also was second host on RTL7 and made a darts podcast along with Nieuwlaat.

Viaplay will launch in march, but before that Nieuwlaat and Visschraper will commentate on the darts in livestreams on Viaplay’s Youtube channel for the Masters and the Premier League.
