Jan Dekker got whitewashed 0-6 by Mario Vandenbogaerde.

In the last 32 Jelle Klaasen edged out Richard Veenstra 6-5. Niels Zonneveld surprisingly lost 5-6 to 2020 BDO Worlds quarter-finalist Chris Landman. Former BDO World Champion Christian Kist won 6-3 against Wesley Plaisier, while Mike van Duivenbode whitewashed Luitsen Elzinga 6-0.

Into the last 16! Klaasen beat Olde Kalter 6-2, while Landman whitewashed Kist 6-0! Danny van Trijp and Mats Gies also won, while Maikel Verberk beat Mike van Duivenbode 6-4. In fhe quarter-finals Klaasen beat Van Gasse 6-2, and Landman had a 6-4 win over Geert de Vos, as every participant was Dutch now! Van Trijp comfortably beat Nick Crouwel 6-1, as Mats Gies won with the same scoreline against Maikel Verberk. In the semi’s Gies also beat Van Trijp 6-3, while Landman surprised by beating former Lakeside World Champion Jelle Klaasen 6-0! A final between Gies and Landman who both haven’t played in the PDC Worlds before. It was Chris Landman who won 6-2, as he’ll make his debut at Ally Pally this december! Congratulations to him!
